Title: Digital Marketing Assistant

The marketing team at Portobello Institute are looking for a digital marketing assistant to join their busy team. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious, creative and digital person to get hands on fun experience in creating content for college website and across multiple Social Media platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of digital landscape including all social medias platforms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Creating fresh, relevant content across all departments

Support in the creation of content for Content calendar

Work closely with programme managers and fulltime students to create engaging content on an ongoing basis. This will include attending and organising meetings and joining student field trips

May be required to attend and support events. For example: Open Days

Support marketing admin

Support website content updates

Other marketing requirements including adwords

Required skills:

Preferably a degree in marketing

A strong interest in marketing, communications, social media

Experience using all social media platforms

A keen eye for photography

Strong ability to create video content

Standard working hours: Monday to Friday 9am – 530pm

6 months contract with a view to a possible permanent position for the right candidate
