Sports Degrees blended learning approach

With constant sector advancements together with a dedicated forward-thinking academic team in our sports department we are now delighted to announce the release of our innovative sports degree programmes through blended learning.

Our blended learning courses have an aim to bring greater diversity to learning and allows for a seamless and complementary flow of learning.  Partnered with London Metropolitan University we have developed some of our sports degree programmes as blended learning options with supported seminars held over weekends. This course delivery type gives mature students and those working on a full-time basis the opportunity to access an Honours degree qualification in sport.

Students can now specialise across 3 distinct disciplines from sports therapy to performance analysis to sports science and physical education. Dr. Susan Giblin, innovative sports programme manager at Portobello Institute has been heavily involved in both the creation and development of our degrees programmes so we are delighted to be able to give potential learners a first-hand snapshot into each discipline.
