Our yearly graduation is a day to celebrate, a highlight of our academic calendar and a day to recognise your academic achievements. The graduation ceremony marks the end of your educational journey with us and after all the hard work and commitment, it’s time to celebrate your achievement.
The annual graduation ceremony will be held in Croke Park on Friday 6th November 2020.
Which Graduation Ceremony should you attend?
There will be two ceremonies on the day. The time of your ceremony will depend on the award you are receiving.
Ceremony 1 commencing at 11.30am - Students graduating with QQI awards, ITEC awards, IWFM awards
Ceremony 2 commencing at 3pm - Students graduating with degrees conferred by London Metropolitan University
Booking your ticket
Students who are eligible to graduate must complete the online booking form. It is imperative you quote your student ID when booking to attend as this will support us to allocate you to the correct ceremony. Students attend free with a charge of €15 payable for guest tickets. The booking opens on 01/09/20 and closes at midnight on 23/10/20, you will be emailed a link to inform you the booking is open and you may process your booking online during those dates.
This is a ticketless event and booking can only be made via the online platform, we will have a record of your booking on the day so don't worry if you delete the email or forget to bring it with you on the day. The platform will close the bookings on 23/10/20 and bookings can not be accepted after this date as they must be made via our website.
Booking your guests
We want to facilitate as many graduates who wish to attend as possible therefore we must limit the number of guest tickets available initially. There is an allocation of 2 guests per student with a fee of €15 payable per guest ticket. We usually have additional seating available to allocate to guests once the booking for graduates is closed. If you would like to bring more than 2 guests, please email firstname.lastname@example.org after you have booked your ticket. A wait list is operated for requests for additional guests with these allocated after the online booking is closed on a first come first served basis. Requests are only accepted by email via email@example.com and will only be recorded after the 01/09/20. Please do not submit a request for additional tickets before you have booked your ticket to attend.
Children attending the ceremony
We are delighted to welcome your children to the Graduation Ceremony and children under the age of 18 attend free of charge. It is necessary to book tickets for any children you intend bringing so we may allocate a seat for them - please email firstname.lastname@example.org with details of your children and their age. Only email after you have booked your ticket as we will tag your children's seats to your booking. An adult will need to be available to supervise young children in the guest seating area.
