Strength and Conditioning for Sport 2

Understanding, monitoring and managing workload is an essential consideration for coaches looking to reduce injury risk and optimse perofmrance. This course provides a comprehensive insight in to periodisation for training (pitch-based & gym-based). The course covers the requirements for developing mirco - meso - macro cycles over a 1-4 year periods. The course covers different models of periodisation (undulating, linear) and effective implementation of periodised training (promoting adaptation, idenitifying over-reching & preventing burnout).
