QQI Level 5
Business Studies - Full Time
This Pre-University Business at Portobello Institute gives you the best possible chance of going on to study a Degree in Business in Ireland’s leading Colleges.
Over the past year, the academic team have developed a brand new, full-time programme that can be used as a stepping-stone into University. The programme has been specifically designed to help you get into many of the country’s top universities such as DCU and UCC.
Higher Education Links Scheme;
This programme has the most sought after modules that Universities want their applicants to have. The modules within this programme are the correct modules you require to further your education.
For example, if you wanted to study Level 8 Business Studies in DCU you need to have QQI Level 5 Mathematics or Statistics within your Major Award. (DC111). For information on all relevant Higher Education Links visit www.qqi.ie (QQI), the Central Applications Office (CAO)
Not only are the subjects highly sought after by universities but they are delivered in a really cool and interesting way. Unlike many other providers we make boring subjects like statistics, and economics really interesting and fun. For instance, you’ll understand why increased ice-cream sales causes crime; you’ll discover why it is a bad idea to lock up drug lords; and we’ll pull the curtain back on how people manipulate our decision making.
