Facilities management profession is responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of support services for the property it manages. Managing Facilities Management Strategy and Projects provides the learner with the skills necessary to assemble and manage Facilities Management teams. To strategically undertake projects from planning, through monitoring and reporting to completion and review. Their input can allow the organisation can realise substantial cost savings through implementation of an efficient project management processes.

The IWFMFM FM Projects and Strategy FM qualification is aimed at those working in Facilities Management. This course is also suitable for first-line managers and supervisors seeking to develop their skills and gain a recognised Facilities Management qualification.

The FM Projects and Strategy FM Award has been developed and awarded by The Institute of work place and facilitites management (IWFM), the professional body for facilities management. The IWFM qualifications have been developed through corresponding with key stakeholders, to develop qualifications which meet the needs of individuals working in the FM sector.

Block release: Programme delivered over 4 Saturdays

The award consists of 2 modules which are:

• Module 1: Managing Facilities Management projects
This module enables a learner to undertake a facilities management project; assemble and manage facilities management teams and undertake projects from planning, through monitoring and reporting to completion and review

• Module 2: Organisational & Facilities Management strategy
This module enables a learner to undertake an analytical overview of the scope and context of facilities management, including the impact of change, development and innovation on facilities management practices

The award consists of 2 modules which are:

• Module 1: Managing Facilities Management projects
