"After years of working in Telecoms and Finance, I decided to go back and study something that always interested me - working with children. I chose to study Montessori teaching with Portobello Institute.  The course was fantastic. Every lecture was extremely informative and was backed up with practical exercises using Montessori materials. In addition to the Montessori curriculum we also learnt about ways to set up a school, e.g. regulations and legalities.

Two years after I qualified I found the ideal premises, a purpose built pre-school that was available to lease. The private school garden has just been renovated and there is ample parking alongside the school. I currently run two Montessori classes per day and love every minute of it."
