Sports Coaching Part time
The Sports Coaching course aims to introduce the learner to the skills required to effectively coach an individual or team. As a sports coach, you will be able to identify the technical, tactical and team skills required for an individual or team to participate in a particular sport while promoting an enjoyable and positive experience for participants.
Qualifications gained
- FETAC Level 5 Component Certificate in Coaching Skills
(This award is suitable for those coaching gaelic football, soccer or hurling and the award will reflect the sporting discipline chosen by the student.)
Entry requirement
Entry to this course is by direct application to the college. There are no previous academic requirements.
