Insurance could be considered a recession proof product and therefore the industry has a consistent requirement for well trained professionals. This course is designed to provide students with that training and put them on the first step of the ladder to a profitable and rewarding career in Insurance.
Students gain an in-depth understanding of Insurance and understand the claims process and legal circumstances relevant
to Insurance organisations. They learn how to sell and document home, car and travel insurance either over the phone or in person.
This course provides the knowledge and skills to understand the consultative sales process and it’s central role in determining
the customers insurance needs.
In addition, this course offers students the opportunity to enhance their communications and customer service skills.

Entry to this course is by direct application to the college. Acceptance to the course is interview-based. There are no specific points requirements.

Assessment for this course is based on a combination of continuous assessment and modular examinations.
