If you have never been a student of Portobello Institute
If you are not, and never have been, a student of Portobello Institute, the opt out will erase any personal data that was provided to us for the purposes of communication with you.
If you are a past student of Portobello Institute
If you were previously a student of Portobello Institute, the opt out will not necessarily result in personal data being removed, but we will cease immediately to supply you with information regarding our courses and products. Your personal data cannot necessarily be removed as we are obliged to keep data on record for a number of years depending on the rules of examining/certification bodies such as FETAC, HETAC, ECDL and so on. If you are concerned, please consult the Privacy Statement and use the instructions contained therein to query what personal data we retain about you and why we do so. You have a right to know what personal data we hold, you have a right to have a copy of any personal data and you have the right to have it rectified if the data is in error.
If you are currently a student of Portobello Institute
If you are currently a student of Portobello Institute and erroneously receiving information via email or text about courses or products that do not apply to you, we would appreciate it if you would please notify your course tutor immediately.
Portobello Institute Marketing Policy
Portobello Institute does not share you information with third parties for the purposes of indirect marketing without your express consent to do so.
Portobello Institute will always inform current students of courses, workshops, seminars and products that are directly relevant to their course.
Portobello Institute also provides information about its relevant courses, workshops, seminars and products to past students who may be interested in professional upskilling or doing another course. If you do not wish us to send you this information, then you can use the opt out facility.
It is never Portobello Institute's intention to market to you without your express and prior consent. If you have received information from us in error, then please accept our apologies and use the opt out facility as instructed on this page.
