Art through the Senses - 1 Day Course

Art through the Senses is a practical 1 day course exploring the world of arts and crafts through the child’s five senses. Learn how to bring art and crafts alive for the child and add another dimension to their learning.

Entry requirement

Entry to this course is by direct application to the college. There are no previous academic requirements.

Course structure

This is an intensive one day course.

Course content modules

1. Why we encourage the child to use all the senses in art and craft activities, using the right and left sides of the brain and the impact on the child's development
2. How to take objects and materials from the child’s everyday life and encourage them to see and explore them in a different way
3. How to add another dimension to the child’s learning experience through the arts.
