Art & Crafts - 1 Day Course

Art & Crafts is a one day practical workshop which allows the childcare professional to experience a fresh take on art and crafts. Through the workshop the learner will be able to provide the children in their service with a unique take on seasonal art and crafts.

Entry requirement

Entry to this course is by direct application to the college. There are no previous academic requirements.

Course structure

This is an intensive one day course.

Course content modules

1. How to theme your arts and crafts activities to support your yearly, seasonal and monthly curriculum
2. How to reuse materials in the child’s environment in a way which supports their learning and broadens their artistic abilities
3. How to develop a child centered approach to arts and crafts in the classroom.
