Montessori

Welcome to the Montessori Department

Montessori Education is enjoying a revival. The need to set limits and guide children's behaviour towards a self discipline is openly sought. In light of recent developments in the childcare sector new guidelines regarding qualification requirements have been introduced. Portobello Institute is delighted to introduce their new two year course; Higher Certificate in Arts in Montessori Education, in response to these requirements. This ensures our students receive the best level of Montessori Training available. This course is available to learners as a Full Time or a Part Time study option to suit your individual study needs.

We are also working towards a Year 3 to this course which will lead to a Level 7 Ordinary Degree in Arts in Montessori Education; so check back with us for regular updates on the status of this.

Portobello Institute has many courses within the Montessori, Childcare and also the Special Needs departments. Please browse our full course profiles and if you wish to discuss them further don't hesitate to contact one of our dedicated course advisors.

Wishing you all the best,
