Marinet Brennan
Marinet Brennan is a qualified Speech and Language Therapist living and working in the Republic of Ireland. She obtained her Bachelors in Speech Therapy and Audiology at the University of Stellenbosch in 2001, and completed her MSc in speech Pathology in 2008.
Since arriving in Ireland in 2002, Marinet has worked for various disability organisations and hospitals such as Children's Sunshine Home, Enable Ireland, St Michaels's House and St James's Hospital. She manages her own private speech and language therapy practice called Bright Stars and works mostly consultatively with disability organisations in Dublin and Kildare.
Anita Duffy
Anita started out her career in nursing working as a staff nurse in the Orthopaedic and Spinal Injury Unit in the Mater Hospital Dublin. She relocated to the UK and carried out nursing duties in the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, London and the Accident and Emergency department in Barnet and Edgware General Hospital, London. Anita moved back to Ireland to continue Nursing and took up roles in St Vincents Hospital Dublin and later as an Emergency Nurse Manager in St Columcilles Hospital. Armed with a wealth of nursing knowledge Anita decided to move into nursing education.
Within her teaching remit she has delivered on various topics across both postgraduate and undergraduate nursing education programmes in The Royal College of Surgeons Ireland, the School of Nursing and Midwifery, TCD and Portobello Institute.
Anita Duffy is a Doctoral student and holds the following qualifications - FFNMRCSI, M.Sc, B.Sc Nursing Management (Hons), RGN and RNT.
