The Urinary Catheter Care course introduces the participant to the function of, indications for and rationale of using Indwelling Urinary Catheters in patient/client care and the fundamentals skills relating to the effective care and management of the patient/client during urinary catheterisation and its use and maintenance.

Course Venue
Please note that this course takes place in the clinical skills laboratory at Trinity College Dublin and in Portobello Institute City Centre.
Entry requirement
Entry to the course is by direct application to the college. This course is only suitable for registered nurses and midwives.
