Health Education

Welcome to the Health Education Department

The Health Department is Portobello Institute's newest faculty. The faculty was introduced in response to gaps in the market for particular skills in the area.

The health sector is seeing huge changes in Ireland of late. With this reform has come an increasing demand for roles in particular areas. Some of these areas are in Occupational Therapy Assistant, Speech and Language Therapy Assistant and also Physiotherapy Assistant.

As the demand for college places is at an all time high our Nursing Studies course offers a great solution for anyone who didn't get the required CAO points for Nursing. This course offers a Major award in Nursing Studies and may be used as an alternative entry route into 3rd Level colleges once academic prerequisites are met.

The courses can be studied Full Time or Part Time to suit individual needs and are all accredited by FETAC.

Please browse through our courses portfolio and if you require any further information one of our dedicated course advisors would be delighted to talk you thorough them in more detail.

Best Wishes
