Facial Make Up Part time

ITEC created this Make Up course for those working in salons, pharmacies or for those seeking a qualification to complement a beauty qualification.

You will learn skin analysis and care, how to even out skin tone, correct face, lip and eye shapes.

This comprehensive Make Up course is designed to help you develop your own personal creative style in makeup application.  You may choose not to sit the ITEC examinations and as all materials are supplied during the class, purchasing a Student Kit is optional. You will however be required to purchase a set of makeup brushes.

Entry requirements

Entry to this course is by direct application to the college. There are no previous academic requirements.

FAQ

Do I have to purchase a Make Up kit?

Students can choose between purchasing a Sunarua Kit @ approx €194. A Brush Kit is also required (Sunaura) approx €61. Alternatively, if students have the following make-up items at home, they can use these in class instead of purchasing a serperate make-up kit. Primer, Foundation, Concealer, Powder, Blusher, Shader, (bronzer), Eyeshadows (one of them to be white or cream so it can be used as a highlighter), Eyeliner, Mascara, Lip Liner, Lipstick, Lip Gloss.  Please contact us for Sunaura supplier details. Please allow approx 5 days for Sunaura Kits to be delivered.

Do I have to sit the ITEC exam?

No, the ITEC exam is optional.
