Fashion Management - Full time Year 1
Fashion is a multi-billion euro global industry offering a range of career options for creative individuals with a flair for design. However, as fashion becomes more and more corporate driven, there is an increased need for professionals who are aware of the business climate of this industry and understand the mechanics behind it.
The Fashion Management course introduces students to the principles of fashion design and essential business skills required in this industry. Students explore the design process and materials used. They study all aspects of fashion management including forecasting, fabrics and textiles, garment construction and production, product design & development and the history of fashion. They study how clothes and accessories are marketed and gain an in depth understanding of the administrative side of the business. They have the opportunity to develop their communication and presentation skills and the option to learn Italian, one of the most popular languages in the fashion industry.

Entry requirement
Entry to this course is by direct application to the college. Acceptance to Full Time courses is interview based, there are no specific points requirements.
