Facilities Management BIFM Level 5 Certificate

The Facilities Management certificate course is aimed at Facilities Managers with existing supervisory experience seeking to learn of the more strategic and specialized functions in the Facilities Management environment.

Achievement of the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) Level 5 certificate reflects the ability to identify and use relevant understanding, methods and skills to address broadly defined complex problems.

It includes taking responsibility for planning and developing courses of action as well as exercising autonomy and judgement within broad parameters. It also reflects understanding of different perspectives, approaches or schools of thought and the reasoning behind them.

The certificate course in Facilities Management reflects a strategic business discipline and aims to:

• Equip students to develop and apply effective strategies for managing people in Facilities Management
• Offers students an insight into global Facilities Management trends and thinking
• Develops a students understanding of risk management in Facilities Management

This is a part time course, delivered in block release.  1 weekend per month.

Progression Route

Students can progress onto the BIFM Diploma course.
