EBusiness and Internet Marketing Part time

The EBusiness and Internet Marketing course is designed to enable you to gain an indepth knowledge of how to apply the principles and practice of ebusiness to a small-to-medium enterprise and to gain an excellent understanding of the issues involved in setting up an ebusiness channel in the SME sector.

Students who successfully complete this course will:

• Appreciate the role and importance of eBusiness in a modern knowledge-intensive economy
• Recognise the issues surrounding the set-up of an eBusiness facility in a Small-To-Medium enterprise
• Outline the different support structures available from Government bodies for e-enabled companies
• Realise the importance of risk and security in an ebusiness environment
• Recognise the legal changes impacting on web-based activities
• Develop effective research and analytical skills
• Demonstrate the use of ebusiness software tools

• Portobello Institute Certificate in ebusiness & Internet Marketing
• FETAC Level 5 Component Certificate in Internet Marketing
• FETAC Level 6 Component Certificate in ebusiness

Entry requirement

Entry to this course is by direct application to the college. There are no previous academic requirements.
