Consultative Selling Part time

Consultative Selling is also known to many as Relationship Selling. This systematic selling methodology promotes the sales agent as being the consultant or the expert in the eyes of the customer. Showing how to establish and deepen rapport and trust in the buy/sell relationship. Becoming the provider of solutions to a customers problems and addressing the needs as a partnership between customer and agent. Sales agents will learn the secrets of how to sell solutions to a customers problem rather than sell on price. This enhances longevity between customer and seller, improving productivity and profitability and improves market share through repeat business.

Entry requirements

Entry to this course is by direct application to the college. There are no previous academic requirements.

Course structure

1 evening a week  over 11 weeks

Course content modules

  1. Understand how to formulate product or service solutions to effectively meet client needs through the use of consultative selling skills and tools
  2. Provide solutions to customer problems, handling customer objections to buy and close the sale
  3. Apply sales skills and techniques in a range of customer facing situations
  4. Exercise substantial personal autonomy in a range of sales or customer facing situations
