Dublin Festival of Fashion 8 - 11 Sept 2011

Summer is officially over (well it never really began) but the good news is that the shops are now fully stocked with the all the new Autumn/Winter collections.  To help you decide on what key trends to work this season the Dublin Festival of Fashion is back once more this weekend. The first DFF took place last year and was a roaring success.  This year the DFF HQ on Dawson Street will play host to catwalk shows previewing the collections from all the favourite high street stores from around the city. Thursday kicks off with 'Street Style/Urban Chic', while the theme for Saturday is 'Fast Fashion.  Don't forget to grab the lookbook on the day which features all the looks shown on the catwalk.

In addition to catwalk shows, there will be a 'Style School' where you can get all the latest tips on how to style yourself.  The Art Team hair salon will have a style bar over the weekend and the creative team will be on hand to show you some effective hair do's, while Maybelline will have Beauty Booths all around the city and will be offering Beauty advise and complimentary makeovers.

The new season is all about mixing old with new, so back by popular demand is the Barnardos Vintage pop up store.  The Barnardos style team will be on hand to help you pick out a Vintage piece that you can add to this years wardrobe.

Once you've seen that catwalk shows and decided on your new look for the coming season various bars around the city are running offers in conjuction with DFF so enjoy a cocktail or two with your friends in true fashionista style.
