Barnardos Nov 17 2010

Irish children and family organization Barnardos visited Portobello Institute on the 17th November and delivered a guest lecture to the current Montessori students. They talked to the students about the organization as a whole, its mission and future development and current projects that the students can get involved with both personally and professionally. This was a fantastic opportunity for our students to gain a real insight into the successful work of Barnardos from child protection through to training programmes for those in childcare.
