Nail Technician (Gel & Acrylic Nails) Part time

The Nail Technician course is a progression course from basic Manicure and Pedicure. During this course you will master Gel and Acrylic nails, as well as understand and advise your clients on the different types of nails that will suit their needs and lifestyle.

This Nails Course is an advanced course which will prepare you for a professional career as a Nail Technician. That means that you will also learn how to run a business, how to go about pricing structures and what to do to promote your career and business.

Entry requirements

Entry to this course is by direct application to the college. Students must have completed ITEC Certificate in Manicure & Pedicure to gain entry onto this course.

Note: The entry requirement is not required if you study for both the ITEC Manicure and Pedicure course and the Nail Technician (Gel & Acrylic Nails) at the same time.

Can I do this course without the Entry Requirement?

We do allow students to study ITEC Manicure & Pedicure at the same time as Gel & Acrylic nails. If you can't do the 2 courses together, then you will first have to get the ITEC Certificate in Manicure & Pedicure before you are eligible to do this course.
