Audrey Manning

Audrey began her career in Beauty Therapy by training at the Galligan College of Beauty in Limerick in 1994 where she successfully completed Beauty Therapy and epiliation exams to ITEC, CIBTAC & CIDESCO level. Since that time she has worked continuously in the business for the last 16 years progressing  to manage various salons, including Pure Escape Day spa, an award wining 15 room spa located in north Co Dublin which she managed until 2008.

Audrey was also a board member of the IBPA for several years and was a Judge for 5 consecutive years in the Nail tech and massage categories for the Irish Beauty Industry Awards – Dubbed the "Oscars" of the beauty industry. Passionate about the industry, in 1993 Audrey took a direction of tutoring along side her salon work and began tutoring at Portobello Institute. Audrey currently holds the position of Beauty Course Director in addition to tutoring at the college.

Catherine Cross

Catherine has over ten years experience teaching Holistic Massage, Anatomy & Physiology and Aromatherapy. She is passionate about complementary therapies and thoroughly enjoys teaching these subjects. She originally trained as a massage therapist in England. On returning to Ireland she completed diplomas in Aromatherapy and Reflexology. She is now practising in this field for fifteen years adding Stress Management and Indian Head Massage to her qualifications. Catherine also holds the 'Train the Trainer' certificate from FETAC, a certificate in 'Supporting the Adult learner' from UCD and is currently taking a course in Adult Education in NUI Maynooth. In addition to her tutoring commitments she also runs a private practice.
