A key date in any GAA coach or mentors calendar is the upcoming GAA Games Development Conference taking place at Croke Park on 10th & 11th January 2014. The conference is a great platform for fellow coaches and those involved with GAA at any level to network and discuss the future of GAA games in today's current environment.  The theme this year is "Inspiring Children: Fostering a love of Gaelic Games".

The 1st evening of the event will feature a researchers forum with the majority of presentations coming from retired players or mentors, while on the Saturday a number of key note speakers including Eamon Ryan (Cork), Jody O'Conner (Clare) and Paudie O'Neill (Dublin) will present.  With an expected footfall of over 500 people over the two days Portobello Institute at Croke Park are delighted to be exhibiting at this event.  Our sports course advisors will be on hand to discuss training opportunities with you, ranging from sports nutrition, sports massage, sports coaching.  We also offer workshops in Taping & Strapping, Pitchside First Aid and Strength & Conditioning. Current Personal Trainer student Martin Cahill, a past Dublin footballer player will also be on hand to speak about his training experience to date
