Irish brand Fran & Jane are leaders in the fashion sector.  The Mother & Daughter team have firmly established the brand as the go to store for luxurious fashion pieces with an edge.

Following on from the success of last years collaboration, Fran & Jane have once more teamed up with the Fashion Buying and Merchandising students at Portobello Institute to design a window for their Dundrum store. The students were given a brief to think big, outside the box and to make a statement, all the while in keeping with the renowned branding and ethos of trend lending and inspiring pieces.

The creative director and her team had the laborious task of choosing 3 finalists from the many creative mood boards that were submitted from all the students and the three that stood out the most and selected were Amie Mooney, Natassja Beshoff and Stephanie Ricci.

Amie Mooney opted for a ‘Garden Tea Party’ theme adding pops of neon pinks, oranges and purples to the traditional theme to break away from delicacy and make a bold statement.

All things sweet was Stephanie Ricci’s inspiration when she created her ‘Sweet as Sugar’ mood board. With a bright colour pallet for summer and larger than life sweets and macaroons, Stephanie wants to create an eye-catching window with a feminine flare.

Natassja Beshoff opted for a ‘Summer Garden’ theme replacing the mannequin’s heads with large flower balls. The creative use of flowers will definitely give a girly window an edge.

The competition is now live on Pinterest where the public can vote on the top three chosen mood boards by liking, repining and commenting on their favourite. The winning design with the most Pinterest interaction will be announced on Wednesday 27th March.  Once selected the winner will install their winning design in the window of the Dundrum store which will go live on 16th April.
