The Fashion industry is thriving in Ireland right now with numerous roles recruiting in Buying, Retailing, Visual Disiplay and much more.  With this in mind its been a great year for our Fashion Buying and Merchandising students.  After completing a full or part-time course with us recently some of our students have gone on to secure roles with Irish own brands Dunnes, Arnotts and Awear to name a few.

Jennifer Donahue who completed the part-time Fashion Buying & Merchandising course is now working as an Assistant Fashion Buyer with High street favourites Awear.

Anne Marie Mullahy from our weekend programme has just acccepted a Fashion Buying Administrator role with Dunnes Stores.

And finally Joanne Doyle from our part-time Fashion Buying course and Aifric Dunne from our full time programme both secured Buying roles with Arnotts Department store having completed an internship initially.

All three secured their first roles in these lucrative fashion roles having completed a course with us which we are extremely proud of.  The feedback from Arnotts was Fantastic.  They said "Here at Arnotts we had a great success recently with our Fashion Buying & Merchandising internship.  We found the students at Portobello Institute to be professional, creative, fashioh focused, drive and above all a very good fit for our Business".

Our Fashion department wish all three the very best in their new roles.
