The first of our Explosive Athletes workshops took place last weekend and was a huge success. This one day workshop is aimed at coaches of all levels who train athletes to be effective and reach their full performance goals,

Led by Tony O'Brien the workshop focused on three main modules of Olympic Lifting, Speed & Agility.  Tony focused on the additional benefits of weight lifting being

1) Inter Muscular Co-ordination 2) Balance 3) Stability 4) High GRF 5) No Deceleration

The Speed module worked on Max Velocity and Acceleration Phase, while the Agility module worked on Agility Mechanical & Technical  Factors.

Although an extremely intensive day with a lot of content covered the learner feedback was very positive.
