Last year Portobello Institue were the first education provider to be awarded the BIFM accreditation and since then have successfully delivered this Level 5 Facilities Management course which has set the standard for those wishing to pursue a career in Facilities Management.  The college prides itself on its expert tutors and Portobello Institute are delighted to welcome Eric Khoo onto the board of lectures on the BIFM programme who will deliver the Finance module.

Eric Khoo holds a degree in Mechnical Engineering fromthe University of Technology in Malaysia and a Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBS) from the University Warwick, UK.  He is currently progressing towards a professional designation as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).  He has over twelve years experience in the energy sector and is currently engaged as an Energy Investment Consultant with ESB Energy International in Dublin.  Eric is experienced in the provision of financial analysis for major power projects and as a presenter and trainer in energy economics and financial management.  One of his key interests is teh development, tailoring and use of financial tools for use and application in decision making and management of investment and operations.  Through his extensive experinece Eric Khoo will ensure students have a comprehensive understanding of the importance of financial management within a Facilities Management role.
